Co-Founder; CEO

David is known for the development of new business segments with an emphasis on sustainability and delivering strong bottom line results. 

David also co-founded Teragren Fine Bamboo Flooring with Ann Knight. Together, they pioneered and developed the bamboo flooring industry in the U.S.  With 20+ years’ experience in the bamboo products industry, David remains passionate about promoting the use of bamboo to a large and growing market.

Prior to Teragren, the Knights founded Medical Dental Development Services (MDDS) which specialized in medical practice valuations, sales, mergers and consolidations completing transactions valued in excess of $75MM.



Co-Founder; CMO

Ann articulates and manages the Resource Fiber message and value proposition to the market and other constituents. As a member of the executive team, Ann is a key contributor to the development of strategic direction for the company.

Ann also co-founded Teragren Fine Bamboo Flooring with David Knight where she built a leading consumer brand rated #1 by Consumer Reports for multiple years running.  



Co-Founder; CDO, Governmental Affairs/Economic Development

Marsha works closely with Alabama municipalities, economic development authorities, State of Alabama departments and U.S. federal agencies to promote the benefits of commercial-scale bamboo farming and product manufacturing to reinvigorate under-served areas of Alabama.  

Marsha is a life-long resident and a former First Lady of Alabama.

VP, Manufacturing & Operations

Tom manages Resource Fiber's Manufacturing, Research and Development, and Environmental Certification efforts.  A 17-year veteran of the bamboo materials industry, Tom has overseen product development and factory operations both in China and the United States.  Tom worked with both David and Ann Knight at Teragren for 13 years before joining Resource Fiber in 2020.

Director, International Business Development

Lucas brings more than a decade of experience managing forestry, bamboo building and agriculture projects in Latin America. Through his experience in executive management and fund development in the international non- profit sector, Lucas brings a social and environmental impact focus to business development. 

Lucas also manages a bamboo farm and agroecology operation in Ecuador where he also coordinates supply chain agreements with bamboo suppliers for Resource Fiber. 

Originally from Northern California, he is a lifelong environmental and political activist, entrepreneur, and resident of Bahía de Caráquez, Manabí Province, Ecuador.

CPA; Finance Expert; Board Member

Mary provides strategic advice, financial expertise, and project management to Resource Fiber. With a Doctorate in Global Business Sustainability, Mary has extensive experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and raising capital. As principal of On The Green, LLC, Mary leads advising on start-up projects, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and marketing research and planning.  Formerly CFO for O'Neal Steel, a $3B steel company.



Crop Services Manager;
Principal, Lewis Bamboo

Roger developed the Resource Fiber nursery program. He is a second generation bamboo nurseryman and owner of Lewis Bamboo - recognized as one of the top producers of bamboo in North America due to its proprietary propagating and growing techniques.



Land Asset Manager

Scott manages the infrastructure and security of our bamboo nurseries and other company-owned or leased farmlands.  Scott founded Cyprus Partners for the redevelopment of urban properties headquartered in Homewood, Alabama. Cyprus Partners has a Land Brokerage division which represents buyers and sellers of rural land.
